Ann,
We finally arrived after a cross-country road trip in LA. It only took us 4 days, and so once we got to Texas we just powered it out. Sorry we never had the coffee before we left but as you could imagine it was really crazy in the last few days.

All the furniture arrived safe and we are in our little North Hollywood rental. It actually is great for the kids as it has a big backyard. It has been a whirlwind since then! Keegan has been pretty busy, although Susie says it is actually very quiet right now. God knows what that will be like!! He filmed a Disney Playhouse commercial on Tuesday, which will be shown in about a month. It was really fun for him. He had to act in front of a green screen, which he found hilarious.Last night was the culmination of the crazy world of Hollywood, I guess. Keegan auditioned for a major drama role, with 9 scenes in which he could appear. It is an adult crime drama called Once Fallen. He auditioned and got a second callback the next night. On Tuesday we had a real Hollywood meeting at the Sunset Tower Hotel, on Sunset Blvd.,where Keegan and I met the director on the pool patio, with the actor who was to play the Dad for Keegan. They just chatted, and I talked with the Director, who invited us back last night "to play around a bit more". So we went, and after the audition they offered Keegan the role as August, who is a 5 year old boy who is dumped by his Mom (Alison Eastwood-Clint's daughter) to his Dad, who Keegan absolutely loves, Brian Presley. He is a tough kid who gets dragged around by his Dad to his his life of crime. His Grandfather is in jail, and when Keegan's character visits him in jail he "flips" him off when his Grandpa disses his superhero. His Grandpa is Ed Harris!!!!!!! Amy Madigan, Peter Weller and the director is Ash Adams make up the rest of the cast. Ann it is crazy!!!!!

All of this would never have happened if it wasn't for JRP staff. Miss Sara, Kate, Susie, Marcia and most of all YOU! It has been a tean effort that has reaped results incredibly quickly. He also went to "producers" today in Malibu, for a movie role as a little boy in an Air Bud sequel, called Santa Buddies. All of you had such faith that he was good, and the biggest compliment was from the lead actor who plays Keegan's Dad, when he said he is so natural and the only kid he wanted from the 7,000 who auditioned originally. He starts filming on Oct 9 in LA, and for the 2 weeks after that. Susie sees it as a fantastic opportunity to showcase Keegan in a major major role, and hopefully other things may occur from it.

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you guys did. He has been told to not take acting lessons right now as he is so natural, and so ALL he has learned has come from JRP West Palm Beach. Thank you thank you and please let people know, who care, what he is up to. Keep in touch, and we will definitely see you in LA in the New Year.
